[Question Free Time]

Where do people in your country go to in their free time?

-Do they go to parks or beaches?

-Tell me everything about the places people go to in their free time.

[Answer]

I guess [I think] people usually go to parks whenever they have free time. Because, uh, you have the freedom to do various activities there.

And um, I think people love to have options at a park. And the options are endless.

Main Point

And um, you know, “the..” many parks have trails, so, many people tend to ride their bikes there.

filler combo 이용, “the..”

ex) “the..” “the” many parks have trails~

ex) “the..” you know, many parks have rails~

And um, the scenery’s great and the air is quite fresh. And you know what? Oh, what am I saying..

ex) 1. Uh, what am I saying / 2. What am I trying to say / 3. Uh, how can I explain this?

Uh, yeah! Some people prefer relaxing instead.. And so, “a lot of them..” chicken.. order chicken and beer.. and um, chat up a storm with their friends.

instead 단어를 사용해서 bike에서 relax로 전환하고 있음, 그리고 아까와 마찬가지로 “a lot of them” 뒤에도 할 말을 까먹었으므로 한번 더 말을 해주면 더 깔끔함

ex) And so, “a lot of them..” “a lot of them” order chicken and beer~

ex) And so, “a lot of them..” chicken,, Uh, you know, uh, order chicken and beer~

But you know what? That’s the(a) common thing to do here in Korea.

And, of course, there’s another option. another option is to(You can) just simply lie down on the grass.

ex) And, of course, there “IS” another option~ / And, of course, there’s “ANOTHER“ option~

And occasionally, you can even see some people busking. The.., (you know), those random performances are.. definitely a special treat.

Even 심지어 / quite / a little bit 약간 / pretty 약간 / like ~같이

ex) “Those random performances are..” “those random performances are” definitely a special treat.

Uh, I think, you know, it’s the(a) no brainer to go to parks.. because there are so many things to do (“THERE”). And it’s like a playground for adults.

[Rule]

1. Never ask Ava a question. If you must, ask a rhetorical question.

2. Do not use difficult words that you are uncomfortable with.

Use simple words you are totally confident in using.

3. Try not to repeat the same word in the same sentence.

4. Don’t use 2 descriptive or feeling words using “and”.

Comfy and cozy (X) / Crispy and crunchy (X) / Juicy and tender (X) / Wind down and relax (X)

5. Talk about one thing, and one thing only.

6. If you get nervous and have nothing to say, go right to the conclusion.

7. Make “honest excuses” later. Not in the beginning.

[TIP]

Description(설명) / Habit(습관) / Past Experience(과거 경험) / Comparison(비교)

- Fillers

um / uh / well / you know / you see / let me see / like / what am I trying to say / I mean / I think / I find it / I feel / I guess / quite / What I really (like, love, hate, interesting == 그저 그럴 때) about / It’s funny cos / Frequently / Most of the time ~ But sometimes ~ / you know what?
